The Company was established in 2005 by a group of former ConocoPhillips executives with a wide experience of managing international oil and gas activities and a collective track record of success and achievement in a variety of corporate roles and international locations. Since that time, the Company has grown steadily and it was recently acquired and recapitalised by Nimbus Oil and Gas Group Ltd.
The Company's strategy has been to identify, evaluate and acquire new exploration ventures at the early E&P life cycle stage in order to minimise entry costs and with a clear plan to add significant value to the assets over time. The plan involves the design and execution of cost-effective work programmes with the objective of high-grading the best prospects for early drilling.
The Company has a strategic focus in
Europe
and
Africa
where it has acquired a balanced exploration portfolio of eleven permits in five countries with a combined prospective resource potential of over one billion barrels of oil equivalent. The Company expects to participate in up to eight exploration wells over the next three years. Further upside potential exists in several new ventures, which are being evaluated for acquisition, including appraisal, development and early production projects.
The Company proactively manages its asset portfolio in order to balance its risk and cost exposure and it welcomes enquiries from prospective farminees. In addition, the Company is interested in the acquisition of proven and contingent reserves and continuously scans assets within its regional focus areas for potential investment opportunities.
